APPARTAMENTI PER VACANZE

"We needed a place to stay close to the airport to see out our final days in Italy. We booked fairly last minute and Federica and Giovanni were quick to help us out and have us accommodated.

This is a typical apartment for the area however it is very homely and blessed with a lovely outdoor area that my children loved allowing me to finish off my holiday reading. The apartment is very close to the ocean, the beaches are the usual black sand variety but the esplanade is a wonderful place for a sunset stroll. There is a great cafe/bar on the corner for your coffee fix, we took our own cups down for takeaways and they were very friendly. There are a few other restaurants nearby which were unfortunately closed, however we did come straight after peak season so they may have been on vacation.

The community had a nice feel to it on our strolls around, and it took approx. 20 minutes to walk to the train station with my children (perhaps 10 without). The TV was a little small and reception patchy but I suppose you shouldn't be watching TV while on vacation :).

Wifi was fast, reliable and available throughout the apartment. Water pressure and amenities all worked fine and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, cups and utensils etc.

"Che dire: siamo tornati !!! Per noi è un’ottima sistemazione per un soggiorno al mare: casa con tutte le comodità, bella, pulita e spaziosa (con anche un bel giardino). Vicinissima al mare (ma non direttamente sul mare… che rende le notti tranquille e silenziose!!) e vicinissima anche a negozi, supermercati, farmacia… Comoda anche se si intende visitare Roma: il trenino che collega Ostia Lido con la capitale è molto frequente. I proprietari sono molto professionali, disponibili, puntuali e solleciti. Credo sia difficile trovare una sistemazione migliore!"

“It was exactly as described. Spacious and clean apartment on second floor with 2 airy bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, big dining-living room and separate kitchen. Very comfortable for 2 couples of adults or family of 4-5 people. Unlimited Wi-Fi and all appliances worked fine. Location is excellent. Supermarkets, plenty of food stores and other kinds of stores and services, restaurants pizzerias, cafes and so on are all around.

With public transportation it takes 40-45 minutes to reach the center of Rome. It includes walking time to subway station, but there are also frequent buses which can get you even faster to/from subway station. Beaches are in 5 minutes of walking distance from the apartment.

Hosts, Federica and Giovanni, are very nice, communicable, well organized and responsible young persons. Everything, including transfers from/to airport, was settled on time.

We are fully satisfied with our stay in the apartment. Thank you, guys.”

"Great location, great price. My family and I stayed here in april 2013. We are two adults and one teenager and one preschooler. We were very comforable here. Kitchen had everything we need to cook breakfast and dinner. Beds were comfy and it was nice to have two showers and a washing machine (no dryer, but clothes line provided). There are two great supermarkets within walking distance and a great bakery and coffe shop across the street. Very close to public transportation. One and a half Euro to get from Ostia to Cental Rome (40mins, 1 bus and two trains). 20 min walk to the beach. There were some noisy neighbors above our apt. Only a problem if your a light sleeper. Overall its a great place to stay!

"My husband and I had a wonderful stay in the Ostia apartment. It was clean and well-appointed. We have been to Rome many times and have stayed in the city but on this trip we wanted to be outside of Rome with the option of going into the city. The location of Ostia apartment is perfect--close to the train station for less than half-hour trip to Rome. We also loved being in Ostia. I highly recommend this apartment and will stay there again on future trips to this part of Italy."
